Commercial Export Requirements for Fruit Seedlings (Companies)
1. The company must have a valid Commercial Registration (CR) that includes the activity of seedling or plant sales.
2. The company must employ a qualified agricultural engineer.
3. The company must have a licensed nursery issued by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (Operational License).
4. After fulfilling the requirements, an application for a Seedling Export License must be submitted through the Naama Platform. Once approved, export requests can be submitted through the system.
5. The Seeds, Seedlings, and Plant Propagation Materials Regulation must be reviewed and complied with.
6. Export of ornamental seedlings is not permitted.
7. If the export involves date palm seedlings, the company must have a commercial registration including the activity of seedling or plant sales, and after submitting the export request, the required pesticide treatment procedures for palm seedlings must be completed before export, with submission of documentation proving completion of the treatment process.
